Beat box jazz piano and a story of a trip to Vienna, outro juicy rhodes solo
lyrics
I was in Vienna and I sent you a postcard. I knew I'd be home before it arrived but I posted it anyway. The heat of early summer thawing bone and muscle, pulling colour that nature so selfishly hides from us. Each flower appears as a miracle upon the grey memory of winter. That was a long winter, the cold just kept on coming and coming, it could be still going on now and I'm sure nobody will notice. So far did it stretch our sinuse did it preach to us of fire and snow, making us forget the true heat of summer.
But in the winter there was beauty there too. Not in colour but in contrast. I remember the great banks of snow clouds, like flying mountains, casting shadow upon the marrow of the wide sea.
Bone-white and brittle, sweet-coating the land in sadistic sugar. But there was sweetness there too. Long had the winged migrations parted and I wandered if they, with beady eye, viewed our distant isle from warmer down. Waiting to return as one waits for passion to subside, as one waits for kindle to catch.
Hear that sound that awesome sound, deeper than the sky around, oh your love is big, its indestructible untouchable.
Fire and ice, who holds greater energy? Ice and Fire who holds the deeper synergy, and the streets of Vienna are missing you again.
Effort climbs the air to freedom, these notes I spin are for you.
Altitude and quiet.
I send a kiss into the air, I send a kiss into the summer rain.
With the rain comes sound, with the sound comes music, with the music arrives dance, so let us dance for the rain she whets our appetite for life, whets our appetite for love. rekindles our sexual fire.
